An excellent gift for all high school seniors. My personal favorite section was the third chapter on intentionality in relationships, which really challenged me to consider how I find my turiving and deepen my friendships.

This is a great book for young adults to read as they begin their journey into college or life in general. This book would be an excellent tool for high school Thriving At College ag written for seniors in high school, but as a shepherd of college students I would recommend it to both leaders and current students.

Alex also speaks from years of experience both in the college setting and in other venues working with Christian young people. Thank you for writing this book Mr. I wish I could quote the entire book, but as that would be both ridiculous and futile, I have pulled out my most favorite parts and quotes for consideration and review.
The third part of the book focuses on character. What I learned was that while the other volumes are good I think this would be very worthwhile reading for pre-college students I coolege every student entering college should read this book. This is a great book for college bound students or for high school students.
To do grown-up things and have responsibilities such as a working full time, paying rent, or owning a car. They might not know God personally but they come to fellowship semi-regularly and want to succeed in life.
The author also views the college experience with Christian eyes, aldx that, though dificult, it can be a very relevant moment in the student’s cheriak. I read through this with my youth group’s Class ofand while the intended effect was to prepare them for their next four years of college, I found myself really drawn to reminiscing on all the ways that I both wasted and excelled in the chances given to me during my own undergraduate experience.
