Time studying Nee is time well spent, you will be grateful you picked up this book and will find the foundations of your faith deepen with every page. Before reading, I wouldn’t have been able to articulate the Gospel message effectively, but after, I finally felt I had something to stand on.

This book is amazing to say the least and would reccommend to any Christian, new or old. This is a book that is in a handful of life-changers on my shelf. Shall we, then, say that because God has not commanded a certain thing we need not do it? We learn more readily by what we see than by what we hear, and the impression upon us is deeper.
Is there not a discrepancy here? I naturally hesitated when the suggestion was made to publish them, but the Lord made it clear that that was His mind, so I have no option but to acquiesce. The Pharisees cleansed the outside of the platter, but left the inside full of impurity.

Each chapter could almost be seen as a book in itself. Oh, that we might mee see this! Don’t led the dense nature of the book intimidate you. I realized that the primary need of my younger brethren was to be led of the Spirit and to receive revelation from Him, but I could not ignore their need of a solid scriptural basis for all their ministry. This means that the Christian life is the yielding of all the dictates of our flesh and be of subjection to the Spirit.
I found Nee’s style and explanations perfect for me. But spirituality is not a matter of theory; it always issues in practice; and it is with spirituality in its practical out-working that this book deals.
