You won’t be disappointed. I received this book as a First-Reads Good Reads winner and I was throughly surprised at how much I actually liked this book.
We also learn Roderick’s backstory-in fact there’s a lot of flashbacks throughout to sketch out the main characters.
Review – Forever a Lady by Delilah Marvelle

This book has really great characters. Marvelle’s depth of research and her topic matter. Then one day as he was riding in a park, he comes to the rescue of Lady Bernadette Marie Burton. Silhouettes of men and women lurked on the streets and hovered in doorways. Is there any other reason?
Jul 16, Jen Davis rated it really liked it. Do you not understand that, Bernadette? One more thing I loved from the first scene to the last was the dialogue between the two! The first love scene was crass instead of sexy and I couldn’t believe how oady they are confessing their undying love! Everything she got, she had to bust her butt for.
I liked the worldbuilding, the delipah historical facts and tidbits that were included. Robinson remembered that he knew how to dance the waltz and wanted to leave when his head started to ache.
To my distress, King Arthur was never to be found anywhere except for in the tip of my quill. In this story, I introduce the flip side of things people didn’t get to see in Book 1, which includes Bernadette’s relationship with Georgia and Georgia’s relationship with Matthew.
I loved him so much! He didn’t say “Oh, what the hell! Want to Read saving…. Have any to recommend? He goes with Coleman to avoid the threat marvell for Coleman to see to unfinished family business.

Marvelle brings a forgotten New York to life, you will fall in love with the city as you fall in love with Matthew and Lady Burton. But it works in this story!
Matthew is scraping along the underbelly of New York trying to ensure everyone has a meal and a place to sleep while Bernadette fulfills her desires and lives out her dreams going from one adventure to the next. I’m really not sure what the big deal was with India. Having fkrever constrained in a marriage not of her choosing and unhappy in it, she was not willing to compromise on it now that she was a widow. May 28, Farrah rated it really marvells it.

I did feel like mxrvelle later half went by quicker but I think it was wrapped up nicely though I think it could have been foreevr little delilab to flesh out the rest of the plot. He was not yet willing to return to London but had told them that he would in time.

His fortune stolen, young Matthew Joseph Milton is done playing the respectable gentleman. Forever a Lady is a perfect example of what a historical romance should be.
The gentleman pursued th Georgia Milton was walking home when she noticed a man watching her. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
Tremayne returned to his hotel room and looked around. It’s boring and tedious, and his emotional hang-ups aren’t given any credibility. So when an attacker threatens her life, she finds safety in the most unseemly of places: Sins of a Virgin. However, he whines and pisses and moans about how much it hurts and how much he loves Georgia until I seriously wanted to reach into the book and smack the angst out of him.
